Project one durable conflicted queued edit onto the shipped sync-conflict
vocabulary.
Two failure modes are kept apart on purpose. The caller's own argument — the
replica binding — is a programming input, so a malformed one throws. The
queued edit is persisted, possibly corrupt data, so an unmappable one is
returned as a typed refusal that the caller can render beside the conflicts
that did project. Neither path ever returns a partially guessed conflict.
